Datwyler at World Elevator & Escalator Expo 2016

Datwyler Cabling Solutions recently participated in the 2016 China International Elevator Exhibition which took place in the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center from May 10th to 13th. It is one of the world's largest and most influential trade shows in the elevator industry and has been held for 11 years. This year’s edition attracted a record number of over 1200 companies from more than 20 countries and regions, including Germany, the United States, Japan, South Korea, Spain, United Kingdom, France, Russia, and Italy, filling a trade show area of 130,000 square meters. As the current displayed products are more intelligent and humanized than in the past, the event attracted more than 150,000 domestic and foreign visitors for talks and negotiations. The event was truly huge.
Datwyler highlighted its Swiss features and displayed its product portfolio of comprehensive elevator cabling solutions to customers, including conventional flat cable solutions for rapid data exchange as well as travelling cable systems for high-rise stations up to 400 meters and low-rise stations up to 80 meters. Large-scale projects such as the Shanghai Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Shanghai World Financial Center, and Hong Kong International Commerce Center all apply Datwyler products and solutions.
The participation in this exhibition also enjoyed attention from Datwyler headquarters in Switzerland, Datwyler Singapore, and Datwyler China. Xia Xubing, Managing Director of Datwyler (Suzhou) Cabling Solutions Co., Ltd., and three management representatives of Datwyler (Thelma) Cable + Systems Pte Ltd. (Singapore) attended the trade show, which gave visitors to the booth immediate and high-level access to decision makers at Datwyler’s, and which communicated the company’s commitment to excellence.
The World Elevator & Escalator Expo 2016 brought together the top of the global elevator industry, including Datwyler from Switzerland. Here, enterprises strengthened their exchanges and cooperation, introduced their new technologies, maximized their revenue, built the influential power of their brands, and provided a strong platform. Through this expo, Datwyler also strengthened its understanding of and links with the global elevator industry, and continued to offer its assistance to the Chinese elevator industry's global strategy through its ever changing and always leading technology.
