Dubai: Datwyler at GITEX 2016
At the end of October Datwyler Middle East again manned its own exhibition stand at the “GITEX Technology Week”, held in the Dubai World Trade Centre.
This year the Datwyler team gave visitors to the stand an insight into the company’s shared values and introduced them to the three “QSS” pillars - “Quality, Solutions and Services”. These pillars form the basis of Datwyler’s strategy in the Middle East region and underlie business relationships with customers, which are founded on mutual trust and respect.
Several times a day Datwyler’s technical team had scheduled two presentations. The first was called “Datwyler Tables”. These tables explain, summarise and contrast international standards, yielding a comparison between shielded and unshielded cabling solutions with Category 6A products. The presentation also highlighted the advantages of non-conducting glass-reinforced versus steel-reinforced fibre optic cable. In the last part of the presentation the new Datwyler Design Tool – an innovation from Datwyler Middle East – was introduced. The Beta version of the Datwyler Design Tool will shortly be released with limited functionality so as to obtain comprehensive user experience.
The second presentation was entitled “Data Centre Technologies and Standards”. Here Datwyler’s data centre specialist Senjaya Halim not only gave the audience an insight into the latest technological developments, but also introduced the Datwyler Data Centre Services and Turnkey Data Centre range for businesses.
“GITEX was once again a resounding success for Datwyler. Our on-site team welcomed several hundred visitors from various countries to the stand and held good discussions with potential new customers from the whole region and the most varied sectors. Dr. Hanspeter Fässler, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Johannes Müller, CEO, were in attendance for two days, and among others they welcomed to the stand Maya Tissafi, the Swiss Ambassadress to the United Arab Emirates, together with major distributors and partners. We introduced all the visitors to our stand to the full range of solutions and new developments designed to meet the most important customer, application and project requirements,” explained Shaheer Shaaban, Internal Sales Manager of Datwyler Middle East.
